Dr. Pickett received his Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University and his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He then went on to complete his Internal Medicine Residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona and upon returning back to Houston Dr. Pickett completed his Cardiology Fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine.
He is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, ardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Pickett and his wife have been married for 42 years and have one daughter. He and his family have resided in The Woodlands for the past 18 years. He is an avid fly fisherman and is active with his church.
Dr. Pickett has retired from the practice of medicine 4/1/2020. His partners will continue to care for his patients.
